Hey there, I'm Duasone and I'm the founder of Denudaré Shop.
Growing up, I was always drawn to hair accessories and other adornments. I loved how they could transform an ordinary outfit into something special, and more importantly, how wearing them made me feel confident and beautiful.
That's why I was inspired to create a brand that encourages people to embrace their natural beauty and feel comfortable in their own skin. My vision was to provide everyone with unique and stylish items that make them feel confident and express their individuality.
Starting this business has been a personal journey for me, as I constantly strive to focus on self-love and growth. I believe that we all have the potential to be our best and most authentic selves, and I hope that Denudaré Shop can serve as a reminder of that for everyone who uses our products. SO WHAT IS DENUDARÉ?
I get asked a lot what Denudaré means and I love explaining it because it's so important to me. Denudaré, to me means feeling bold and confident in your own skin. It's all about embracing your unique qualities and being proud of who you are. That's why I started Denudaré, because I want to help spread the message of self love and self confidence through handmade hair accessories. The word denudaré in Italian which means "to strip" or "to make naked" which in the context of fashion, it could be interpreted as revealing one's true self through clothing and accessories. Our hair accessories are more than just an afterthought. They are fashionable, unique, and accessible to everyone. And what better way to feel good than with some fabulous accessories? This journey started for me, the founder, during the pandemic - like many businesses. I have always had a love for hair accessories, even from a young age. I remember how putting on a special hair accessory would instantly make me feel more confident and ready to take on the day. With this love in mind, I set out to create handmade pieces that would bring the same confidence-boosting magic to others.
The name Denudaré actually came from combining my nickname "De" and my sister's nickname "Nou" and stumbling upon the Italian word "Denudaré," meaning "to be bare." This word embodies the concept of daring to be yourself, to love yourself, and to be confident in your own skin. And that's how Denudaré Shop was born, with the motto "Dare to be bare".
